John Driscoll (ex-Phillip ‘Chance' Chancellor, The Young and the Restless; ex-Coop Bradshaw, Guiding Light) has announced that he'll be welcoming a baby boy this summer.

Congratulations are in order for soap opera alum John Driscoll (ex-Phillip 'Chance' Chancellor, The Young and the Restless; ex-Coop Bradshaw, Guiding Light), who is expecting his first child with wife Michele Sager.

The actor took to social media with his baby reveal, which was very patriotic in light of it recently being Memorial Day. He posted a photo of three red, white, and blue sneakers (one for him, one for his wife, and one for their bundle of joy), along with the words, "Baby Driscoll, making his arrival, August 2020."

As Soap Central previously reported, Driscoll married Sager in March of this year, smack dab in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic.

"Everything we planned had to be scrapped and redone due to the situation, including our wedding locations, lists, and timing," he said at the time. "But, yes, we were able to pull off our wedding!"

Driscoll won the hearts of daytime fans for his role as Guiding Light's Coop, which he played from 2003 to 2009, and The Young and the Restless' Philip, which he played from 2009 to 2011. His other credits include The Book of Daniel and Dawson's Creek.
